 This documentary is about 12 French teenagers who sail a large sailing ship (with the help of two or three adults), following the same course Columbus followed from Spain to the Yucatan Peninsula, with stops at various Caribbean islands.
It's an excellent film with decent production values for the time. The boys clearly know how to sail and demonstrate a lot of courage and skill. There is one great scene in which a woman sings on the beach, and her dog tries to sing along with her.
This film would be excellent for families, teenagers interested in sailing, and others interested in Columbus, the Caribbean, the Canary Islands, Spain and Mexico. It is also a good film if you want to brush up on your colloquial French, although it has English subtitles for those who do not speak French.

Spain 1960, the dawn of the country's economic development. Industrial "reorganization" means that many workers have lost their jobs and are forced to emigrate. Martin is one of them. Martin, his wife Pilar and their son Pablito live with Mart'n's parents in a basement apartment that comes with their job as superintendents of the building. Encouraged by Marcos, his friend and co-worker, Martin decides to emigrate to Switzerland. The whole family has to admit that for the time being this is the most promising plan. Unable to obtain a work contract from the Swiss Consulate, Martin and Marcos decide to go anyway, pretending they are tourists to get past the border police. Pablito will experience drastic changes in a short period of time: his father's departure, a new way of life in a different country with a different environment and learning another language. But afterwards, in Switzerland, they will face new experiences which will allow them to live with renewed happiness.

Jedynym przyjacielem osamotnionej i zagubionej Anki jest Rysiek, starszy kolega ze szkoły, który spędza z nią dużo czasu. Któregoś dnia dziewczynka przeżywa szok, gdy znajduje pijanego ojca w rowie. Kilkunastoletnia bohaterka, buntująca się przeciwko ojcu dla jego dobra, jest zmuszona reagować jak dorosła kobieta odpowiedzialna za życie innych osób.
EN. In an idyllic working class community, 13 year old Anka grows up, going through stages of adolescence, dreaming, first love and gossiping with girlfriends. Roughly disturbed by the shame and disgrace of alcoholism - leaves unwashable stains upon the community, that tries to cope with abuse and depression, and the system (including school teachers) who try to avoid the subject. This story was aimed at parents, to give them morally an insight into what happens when a young girl has to deal with the disgrace of an alcoholic father and a mentally instable mother. Very well acted by Grazyna Michalska as Anka.

Ich auto jest wypełnione deficytowymi towarami, które chcą sprzedać z zyskiem w kraju. Zostają zatrzymani do kontroli celnej. Szef zmiany Roman (Zdzisław Maklakiewicz) to zimny służbista, zarządza rewizję osobistą kobiet, jednak będzie ona możliwa dopiero gdy na kolejnej zmianie dotrze celniczka. Szmuglerki są gotowe zrobić wiele, aby przedostać się na drugą stronę granicy.
EN. Basia and Krystyna, are trying to smuggle clothes, perfumes and other things purchased abroad through the border back to Poland during communist period. They are accompanied by Basia's son Piotrek, infatuated with Krystyna. At the beginning everything appears to go smooth. Suddenly, however, the custom officer Roman (played by brilliant Zdzisław Maklakiewicz) stops pretending being fooled and demands body search which has to be carried out by next shift. Basia tries to aid the inconvenience by calling her husband Jerzy. She also tries to psychologically abuse Roman. Meanwhile Krystyna tries to bribe other younger customs officer (Łukasz) by sleeping with him on a meadow. They make out (film contains some nudity) but Łukasz says he knows why she gave herself to him. Young Piotrek is shocked to observe that scene. At the end Jerzy, an important figure in communist party, appears, threatens and later begs Roman to allow everybody to go through border. When in the end Roman agrees, heart-broken Piotrek torches the car with smuggled goods, burning everything.

 FR. Une route de campagne, par une belle journée d’été. Une voiture s’arrête sur le bas côté. Le conducteur descend pour changer un pneu crevé et très affairé, ne voit pas s’ouvrir la porte de sa caravane. En sort une jeune étrangère nue comme Vénus. Dans un état somnambulique, elle va se rendormir dans la nature proche, tandis que le conducteur, qui n’a rien vu reprend sa route. Non loin de là, un village à la Tati déborde d’activité, une bande de gamins fait des tours pendables, le curé accélère une cérémonie de mariage car le grand-père de la mariée est sur le point de rendre l’âme, une équipe de cinéma qui y tourne un film convainc un vieux paysan cabotin de jouer un petit rôle. Son petit fils Lulu va trouver la belle égarée et, séduit, fera beaucoup pour qu’elle retrouve habits et mari.

JP. 東京から急行列車で3時間を要するある地方で、32歳の竹中宗吉は、ようやく、印刷屋の主になるところまで漕ぎつけた。狐のような顔をした妻・お梅との間に、子供はなかった。商売の順調な宗吉は、ある時、料理屋の女中・菊代に惹かれる。何とか菊代を養えそうな気がした宗吉は、彼女と関係を持った。好きな女を囲う身分になれたという充足は出世感に近かった。菊代との間には、3人の子供ができた。しかしその後、近代的な印刷会社の進出や火事により、宗吉の商売は零落する。宗吉から生活費の貰えなくなった菊代が、3人の子を連れて、宗吉の家に乗り込んだため、お梅にも事態が露見する。お梅の仕打ちと女房の前に竦んだ宗吉の腑抜けぶりに、菊代は怒り、出て行ってしまう。
3人の子供が残された。女房の睨む中、子供は、一人ずつ「処分」されていく。

Potreba da konačno nađe „ženu svog života“ dovodi Petra u niz delikatnih i komičnih situacija i izbezumljuje njegovog oca (Danilo Stojković), opštinskog sudiju, uštogljenog čoveka, dogmatskih shavatanja, koji veruje da se omladina može vaspitavati samo „čvrstom rukom“ i koji pati zbog svog buržoaskog porekla (otac mu je pre rata bio geometar i školovao se u Pragu). Kada konačno i nađe pravu istinsku, veliku ljubav, ona iz određenih, tada društveno aktuelnih zbivanja, biva prekinuta.

 Serien kretsar kring Toffe, en pojke som nyligen har fyllt sju år och går på dagis. Toffe saknar sin pappa som han sällan träffar efter föräldrarnas skilsmässa. Både hemma och på dagis är han bråkig och utåtagerande. Handlingen utspelar sig till stor del i badrummet där Toffe leker och fantiserar att han är lika stark som Fantomen. I scenerna på dagis skildras gräl och samhörighet med kamrater, men även slagsmål om leksaker och samlagslekar. Relationen med mamman handlar främst om bråk och försoning i badrummet. Toffes fantasier gestaltas med ett formspråk med estetiska effekter och specialeffekter så att tittarna förstår att det bara är fantasier.

Lille Kamilla bor i etterkrigstidens Bergen. Hennes far, Sverre Konradsen (Helge Jordal), er en konkurs fabrikkeier som vil til Amerika for å starte på ny. Med seg på planene får han Siri, en ung kvinne som overtar både arbeid og sengeplass, mens kona Lisa (Løkkeberg) blir overlatt til den finere kjøpmannen Nilsen. Han er også interessert i pengene Sverre tjente under krige
Dette er en hjerteskjærende, vakker og rystende skildring av etterkrigstidens Bergen, sett gjennom lille Kamillas øyne, laget av en av Norges mest særegne regissører. Filmen ble i 1995 satt på UNESCOs liste over Norges 15 mest betydningsfulle filmer.
