 Niklas och Figuren är en svensk familjefilm från 1971 i regi av Ulf Andrée. I rollerna som Niklas och Figuren ses Peter Malmsjö respektive Stefan Grybe. Förlagan är Bengt Anderbergs barnbok med samma namn.
”Niklas och Figuren” är en sprakande och överdådigt rolig berättelse om hur Niklas anlitas som ”hundkorrespondent” av morfadern, redaktör Pudelström, som driver en lokaltidning som vid jämförelse får Grönköpings Veckoblad att framstå som en annan New York Times. En hund har försvunnit från en hundgård, förmodligen på jakt efter sin mamma, och Niklas skickas att leta efter den och därtill skriva rapporter från sökandet. Till hjälp tar han sin märklige vän Figuren, ett slags kombination av troll och människa. Tillsammans ger de sig ut på äventyr - i Vilda skogen möter de Figurens festliga släktingar och i Uppochnervända världen konfronteras de bokstavligen med sådant som är uppochner - här får man pengar när man handlar och alla ord skrivs baklänges, katter och kor till och med låter baklänges. Och så vidare.
Det kommer till en konflikt mellan Niklas och Figuren som för ett slag hotar vänskapen, men det reder upp sig och till sist hittar de hunden, eller hunden har hittat dem, eftersom han redan befinner sig hemma hos Niklas familj. Hunden blir dessutom Niklas hett åtrådda artikelhonorar.

 The 300-year old Paris Opera Ballet School is today a mythical place with an international reputation. In September 2011, it was home to 130 pupils, aged from 8 to 18, all driven by the same desire – to dance one day at the Paris Opera.
Our camera was allowed to accompany them for a whole school year. The characters are: the younger students, who are amazingly determined for their age; the older students, who, at the age of 16, are already professional dancers; their teachers, who are often principal dancers; and all those who watch over this very singular world.

 Angyali üdvözlet, aka "The Annunciation", is a surreal account of the history of humanity as portrayed entirely by children between the ages of 8 and 12. The film begins with the biblical story as Adam (Péter Bocsor) and Eve (Júlia Mérö), are deceived by Lucifer (Eszter Gyalog) -- three very photogenic leads -- into tasting the "Forbidden Fruit". They are thus chased out of the Garden of Eden by the Angel of Death and, in a vision, sent on an existential journey through western European history.
Always followed closely and influenced by the deceptively sweet, but contemptuous Lucifer, we follow Adam through The Plague, wars, Byzantium's wretched cripples, the French Revolution, the squalor of Dickensian London, and a final return to the scene of the crucifixion. Of course the picture makes a case for its premise -- that of the consequences of Original Sin -- yet does so in a very unique way. In the closing scene, Lucifer says, "Why did I strive to achieve greatness in man, who is...in knowlege a pygmy, in blindness a giant?" This reflects the somewhat nihilistic view of a nation still under the boot of Soviet communism.
This rare movie may be one of the best (and only child-starred) art films ever.

Pendant que les jeunes candidats connaissent leurs premiers émois amoureux et se passionnent pour les romances à deux sous, les espoirs et désespoirs des instituteurs viennent fausser la règle du jeu. Alors, entre adultes et enfants, se noue un drame qui ne connaîtra son épiogue que douze ans plus tard...

EN. This certificate was formerly obtained by pupils at the end of primary school. It disappeared and in the naughties is nothing but a memory for older people, retired or soon-to-be-retired. I thought myself of taking it, but the principal told my mother it was useless.
The teacher of a small village has a dream: he wants his son to get his certificate and to be the best in the district ("Canton"). His younger son is less gifted: he is ashamed of him and treats him like a dunce. His obsession is so strong his marriage (his wife is a schoolteacher too) is soon on the rocks. Enter a handsome teacher and this is no more the perfect family.
The day of the exam is particularly well directed, with the inspector of schools and the inhabitants talking arithmetic and spelling. When the results are announced, there will be some surprises. And even an unexpected twist, ten years later. This is an above average MTV work.
