 The second movie version, now in color, of Flemish (heimat-)author Ernest Claes' classical novel, titled after the nickname (Dutch 'the White', referring to a blond male) of the main character. The smart but naughty farmhands son's eternal mischief, pranks and disobedience drive his elders (especially teachers, family and father's grumpy employer, a rich farmer, but also neighbors and even the kind curate whose liturgical server he is) and classmates to despair in a time when a boy's punishment was still inevitable, swift and often severe; thus when his mother catches him skinny dipping she takes all his clothes home, forcing him to a long walk of shame, dreading dad's wrath all the way. This version also stresses the story's social and Flamingant aspects.

 Ballet Boys takes you through disappointments, victories, forging of friendship, first loves, doubt, faith, growing apart from each other, finding your own way and own ambitions, all mixed with the beautiful expression of ballet.
The film follow three young Norwegian teenagers from Oslo, 14-15 years old in 2012, all attending the same school and loving ballet, with great ambitions. They all tell about their lives, ambitions, everyday life, teacher conversations, parents relations, stage performances, hopes and joys. We meet them right in the age when they really have to decide if they are to really take the step up from being amateurs to go for it to become professionals. We follow them through a year, through competitions as well as in every day struggles with things every teenager might go through.
The documentary is really well made, is very true to the environment portrayed, and the film is building up interest in a perfect way. It helps, of course, that the youngsters are opening up to their inner thoughts; and are charming and interesting to get to know. It's an inside look of the demands, tests, the physiological and psychological test and the training they go through as they all try to become students at a higher level.  Fiorile is a 1993 Italian drama film about a family curse caused by greed. The film was directed by Paolo and Vittorio Taviani, and stars Claudio Bigagli, Galatea Ranzi, and Michael Vartan. It was entered into the 1993 Cannes Film Festival.
The title Fiorile allegedly is derived from the month of Floréal (April–May) in the French Republican Calendar. The film is also known as Wild Flower.
While travelling to visit their grandfather in Tuscany, two children are told the story of a family curse that has lasted two hundred years. During Napoleon's Italian invasion, Elisabetta Benedetti fell in love with French soldier Jean but while he was distracted by her, Elisabetta's brother Corrado unintentionally stole the regiment's gold that Jean was guarding, causing Jean's death by firing squad and set the curse in train. The Benedettis become wealthy, corrupt and hated by their former friends, who rename them the Maledetti, the cursed (Benedetti means 'blessed'). The children's grandfather Massimo Benedetti is the last man to be directly affected by the curse but will he pass it onto them?

Die Probleme eines zwölfjährigen Jungen, mit den Anforderungen der Eltern und der Schule und den eigenen Interessen übereinzustimmen.

Der Vater von Jens hatte sich für einen Einsatz an der Erdöltrasse »Drushba« in der Sowjetunion gemeldet. Bevor er seine Familie verließ, mußte Jens ihm versprechen, der Mutter im Haushalt zu helfen. Jens hält sein Versprechen, zumal sein Vater in einem Fernsehbericht von der Trasse verkündet, daß er weiß, wie stolz er auf seinen Jungen ob seines Versprechens sei. Allerdings hat das zur Folge, daß Jens nur noch wenig an den Veranstaltungen seiner Mitschüler teilnehmen kann, die außerhalb des Unterrichts stattfinden. Um dies für seinen Freund Jens wieder zu ermöglichen, hat Mischa einen Einfall: man müßte die Mutter von Jens, die als Verkehrspolizistin tätig ist, entlasten. Also muß der Straßenverkehr besser geregelt werden, das heißt, Verkehrsschilder werden umgestellt! Doch das führt dazu, daß sich Mischa und Jens plötzlich auf dem Polizeirevier wiederfinden. Offensichtlich war das – obwohl gut gemeint – nicht der richtige Weg, um ihr Ziel zu erreichen. Doch letztens beweist Jens mit seiner Reaktion auf das Geschehene, daß doch auf ihn Verlaß ist.

 Borgen skole var en norsk TV-serie for barn som gikk på NRK Fjernsynet fra 1989 til 1990. Den var fast føljetong i barne- og ungdomsprogrammet Midt i smørøyet. Regi var ved Kalle Fürst og manus ved Bernt Kristian Børresen.
Handlingen var lagt til en Oslo-skole og handlet i utgangspunktet om en gruppe elever som gikk siste trinnet på barneskolen: Klasse 6B. Deretter fulgte den to klasser («Klasse 7B/8B og 4A/5A»). Serien har blitt sendt i reprise flere ganger, senest i 2008 på barnekanalen NRK Super.
Mange av uteopptakene ble gjort ved Ila skole på Ila i Oslo.

Felipe ha gli occhi azzurri è una serie televisiva nata da una coproduzione fra Italia e Germania nel 1991, distribuita da Red Film Group/Beta Film e diretta da Gianfranco Albano e Felice Farina.

Felipe è un bambino di 8 anni, proveniente da Manila e sbarcato clandestinamente a Palermo, insieme ad altri connazionali. Felipe fa parte di un gruppo di piccoli lavoratori sfruttati illegalmente. Durante la sua fuga conosce Turi un coetaneo, figlio della strada, orfano e disadattato. Turi ha davanti a sé una carriera di criminale. Ad un certo momento Turi decide di intraprendere un viaggio per Parigi per visitare la "torre di ferro". Con se porta Felipe, una ragazzina francese ed un ragazzino napoletano di indole mite. Felipe dal canto suo cerca di raggiungere un missionario, tale Padre Leopoldo affinché possa metterlo in contatto la sorella maggiore Silvia. Il viaggio, caratterizzato da elementi talvolta fantastici e inverosimili, prosegue fino a Milano. Qui i quattro fuggiaschi finiscono nelle mani del racket delle elemosine. Turi vuole un rapporto paritario col boss milanese e durante la collocazione rimane gravemente ferito riportando danni cerebrali gravi. Felipe riesce a trovare i soldi per portare Turi a Parigi in Pullman, ma Turi morirà durante il viaggio. La polizia ritroverà Felipe per consegnarlo alla sorella e per gli altri due amici avverrà il ritorno a casa.
Il vero protagonista ed elemento trainante della miniserie è Turi, con la sua esuberanza, il suo carattere forte e determinato, privo di paura e quella sicilianità che lo rende più grande della sua età. È lui il leader indiscusso, da quando fugge dall'orfanotrofio e ritorna nella sua strada a riprenderne il comando, è lui che da forza e trascina il gruppo fino a Milano. Ma la stella di Turi tramonta in una manciata di minuti, in cui ferito gravemente al cervello, diventa fragile, indifeso, privo di ragione, diventa il bambino che non è mai stato, fino a morire prematuramente. Turi, Felipe e gli altri diventano un modello insolito di vera amicizia.

An older adolescent girl has a number of sexual adventures in France, then moves on to Montreal and New York, there finding erotic pleasure, love and danger. Flashbacks place our heroine at approximately eight years of age and perhaps suggest that her promiscuous nature has been inspired by her father's incestuous advances towards her. Think of a mix between Daddy and Felicity to get the idea.

 A mother and son have a strong, almost sexual, bond through moments present and past. The father of the past (who has died of Tuberculosis, revealed shockingly), the mother's current liaison, and the son's wife all re-enforce roles of sexual inadequacy with the two main characters (Mother, Shizuko, and son, Shizuo). Time is blended together, and the film ends up being an incredibly interesting melodrama with much of the (Japanese new wave staple) political put on backburner. A subplot involving the son's lack of sexual interest in his wife, and his mother's lack of sexual fulfillment in her lover  adds to the development of the incest tone.

Homerun (Chinese: 跑吧孩子; pinyin: pǎo bà háizǐ) is a 2003 Singaporean Mandarin-language film. A remake of the award-winning Iranian film Children of Heaven, Homerun is a drama about two poor siblings and their adventures over a lost pair of shoes. Set in 1965, the year Singapore separated from Malaysia, the film satirises the political relations between the two countries, leading to its banning in Malaysia.
The film was written and directed by Singaporean filmmaker Jack Neo, and produced by Mediacorp Raintree Pictures. It stars Shawn Lee, Megan Zheng, Xiang Yun and Huang Wenyong. Filming took place in the rural outskirts of Kuala Lumpur during November and December 2002, but post-production delays pushed back the film's release date.
Released in cinemas on 7 August 2003, Homerun grossed over S$2.3 million during its nine-week box office run. It was nominated for two awards at the 2003 Golden Horse Awards; Megan Zheng, then 10, became the first Singaporean to win a Golden Horse. Generally, however, critical reception of the film was mixed.
