Italian guests want him and his family moved to a different building, because his daughter took off her clothes on the beach and caused a scandal, even though she's only 8 years old. Em suma, o esforçado João consegue um dia levar lá à casa a linda Joaninha de olhos verdes. Convence-a a tomar um delicioso banho de leite de vaca, porque de burra não há. E dá-lhe tantas guloseimas que a pobre menina tem de ir a correr para a retrete. Tocada pelo desvelo, solicita, ela pergunta então: «Quer que lhe guarde a caquinha?». O João, apreciador de bons perfumes, mas sempre na medida certa, desabafa: «Não, tudo o que é demais cheira mal». Vai-se a rapariga embora. Aproveita ele para coar o leite do banho e meter os púberes pentelhos deixados pela deleitosa donzela no seu Livro Sagrado.
Porém, o paterno carniceiro, homem musculado, ao topar a marosca, não perdoa o atrevimento e quase deixa o perverso em estado de coma, todo embrulhado em ligaduras. Livra-se o infeliz da morte, mas não de ser posto no olho da rua pela dona do Paraíso. Sai-lhe caro o pecado.

 Angela's Ashes is a 1999 drama film based on the memoir of the same name by Frank McCourt. An international co-production between the United States, the United Kingdom, and Ireland, it was co-written and directed by Alan Parker, and stars Emily Watson, Robert Carlyle, Joe Breen, Ciaran Owens, and Michael Legge, the latter three playing the Young, Middle and Older Frank McCourt respectively.
Based on the best selling autobiography by Irish expat Frank McCourt, Angela's Ashes follows the experiences of young Frankie and his family as they try against all odds to escape the poverty endemic in the slums of pre-war Limerick. The film opens with the family in Brooklyn, but following the death of one of Frankie's siblings, they return home, only to find the situation there even worse. Prejudice against Frankie's Northern Irish father makes his search for employment in the Republic difficult despite his having fought for the IRA, and when he does find money, he spends the money on drink.

Jhalki (transl. Glimpse) is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Brahmanand S. Siingh, produced by Brahmanand S. Siingh (Mobius Films) and Annand Chavan, co-produced by Vinayak Gawande and Jayesh Parekh and co-directed by Tanvi Jain. The film featuring Boman Irani, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Divya Dutta and Sanjay Suri, follows a 9-year-old street girl Jhalki, setting out to find her 7-year-old brother against the backdrop of the child slavery trade. The trailer of the film was released at the Cannes Film Festival[13] in May 2019.
The film has been premiered at various national and international film festivals and won 13 awards so far. It was released theatrically in India on 14 November 2019.
A life-altering disappearance of her 7-year old brother sets Jhalki off on a mission to find him at all costs. Di notte il ragazzo non riesce a dormire perché ha paura di certi rumori; la zia gli dice che sono rimorsi per le sue cattiverie, invece li causa lei stessa ricevendo uomini. Anche gli amici di Benedetto sono pervasi dagli scrupoli, temono di essere in peccato mortale per aver guardato, nascosti nei campi, sotto le gonne delle contadine intente alla raccolta. Per questo, mentre si appresta a ricevere la prima comunione, Benedetto vive l'avvenimento in un clima di religiosità esasperata. Nella preparazione al sacramento, il curato don Quirino distribuisce ai bambini le effigi degli "amici celesti", i santi che dovrebbero assisterli finché riceveranno Gesù. A Benedetto tocca sant'Eusebio, martirizzato sul rogo.

 Die Jahre vergehen ist ein österreichisch-deutscher Fernsehfilm von Peter Keglevic. Der Zweiteiler wurde am 29. Juni und 6. Juli 1981 im ZDF uraufgeführt.
Teil 1. Gregor Nadolny ist 30 Jahre alt und Touristikmanager. Er war mit seiner zehn Jahre alten Tochter Anna in Italien und sie befinden sich beide auf der Rückfahrt. Seine Tochter hat Fieber. Trotzdem will er nicht nach Hamburg, seinem Wohn- und Arbeitsort, sondern nach Pfauen. Dort hat er vor 20 Jahren einen glücklichen Sommer bei seinen Stiefgroßeltern verbracht und möchte seine alte Liebe wiedersehen.
Teil 2. Gregor Nodolny trifft in Pfauen Bekannte aus Kindertagen wieder, wobei „ wirklich wichtig … die Begegnungen mit den beiden Kinderfreunden von damals“ sind: So seine alte Liebe Ada, und den Jungen Ila.
Georg, Ada und Ila unternahmen als Kinder in Pfauen viele Dinge miteinander: So tanzten sie miteinander. Dann saßen sie unter einem gedeckten Tisch und tranken ein „Maß“. Als Ila auf dem Feld eine weiße Flagge vor sich her trug, liefen Ada und Georg ihm hinterher oder beteten kniend miteinander in der Kirche.
Zwischen Georg und Ada entwickelte sich eine Zuneigung. Die beiden waren viel in der Natur. Sie halfen bei der Feldarbeit, wo beide einen Korb mit einer Mahlzeit für die Feldarbeiter auf das Feld brachten. Später wurden sie vom Regen überrascht und suchten gemeinsam Schutz „unter einer Decke“ Sie gingen in eine Scheune. Ein Bild zeigt beide im Stroh liegend, sich umarmend, während Gregor sich über Ada beugt. Die Kinder „sind verwirrt von ihren Gefühlen“. Am Ende stehen beide in Anzug und weißem Kleid nebeneinander. Georg verliebte sich in Ada und wollte sie heiraten. Später jedoch heiratet er eine andere Frau, vergleicht seine Ehefrau jedoch mit seiner Kinderliebe, die er nach zwanzig Jahren wiedertrifft.

Two boys watch a cartoon film about various kinds of animals and one of them claims repeatedly that he can do the same things he sees the animals doing. But then the sight of birds flying plunges him into confusion: the film ends with the shot of an aeroplane circling the skies overhead.

Der heitere Fernsehfilm von 1977 bot den Zuschauern ein Wiedersehen mit beliebten Darstellern in einer Geschichte über zwei Freunde, die durch den Einfluss der Liebe in einige Verwirrungen geraten, an deren Ende aber die wahre Liebe den rechten Weg weist. Schauplatz des ganzen war Berlin, die Hauptstadt der DDR, deren Straßen und Plätze, Häuser und Wohnungen.
Und mitten drin in diesem Milieu lebt Ulrike Busch (Susanne Linser), ein zehnjähriges Mädchen, dass mit Energie und Zielstrebigkeit nach einem neuen Vater sucht. Als Ulrike zusammen mit ihrem Schulfreund den aus Mühlhausen stammenden Bauarbeiter Dieter Körber (Jürgen Heinrich) kennen lernt, ist sie überzeugt, dass dieser ihr neuer Vater sein könnte. Nun gilt es, Ulrikes Mutter (Micaëla Kreißler) mit sanfter Hand zu ihrem neuen Glück zu führen. Dass dabei auch der sympathische Großvater Karl (Gerhard Bienert) mit einbezogen wird, darf an dieser Stelle nicht unerwähnt bleiben.
Diese TV-Produktion galt in der Zeit ihres Entstehens als gelungenes Werk, vom realen Sozialismus zu berichten, von der Geborgenheit und Zukunftsgewissheit der Menschen in der DDR, und sie war zudem der wiederholte Versuch, der Hauptstadt Berlin eine Liebeserklärung zu offerieren.

 Ronia, the Robber's Daughter (in the UK, Ronja Rövardotter in Sweden, Ronja Robbersdaughter in the USA) is a Swedish fantasy film which was released to cinemas in Sweden on 14 December 1984, directed by Tage Danielsson, based on the 1981 novel of the same title by Astrid Lindgren, and adapted for the screen by Lindgren herself.
When the film was broadcast on television two years after its cinema premiere, the film was twenty minutes longer and uncensored (the cinema release allowed viewing from 7 years and older). This spurred a debate where critics asked if film was more harmful in cinemas than on television. The film was selected as the Swedish entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 58th Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee.
Borka and his band and Mattis's band of robbers are rivals. Birk, his parents and their band live in the wild in Mattisforrest. They move in to Metis-stronghold, which belonged to his ancestors, in an attempt to escape being caught by the king's men. The children have to learn to live in the woods.

 The Devil's Playground is a 1976 Australian drama film written, produced and directed by Fred Schepisi. It is a semi-autobiographical film which tells the story of a boy growing up and going to school in a Catholic juniorate administered by De La Salle Brothers. Its focus is on the trials of the flesh and the tensions that arise, for both Brothers and students, from the religious injunction to control one's sexuality.
Fred Schepisi's film, 'The Devil's Playground' is an intimate portrait of Tom, a thirteen-year-old struggling in spirit and body with the constraints of living in a Catholic seminary. It is also the story of the Brothers and how they cope with the demands of their faith.

 The Nest (Spanish: El Nido) is a 1980 Spanish drama film written and directed by Jaime de Armiñán, starring Héctor Alterio and Ana Torrent. The plot follows the emotionally intense relationship between an old widower and a precocious thirteen-year-old girl. The film was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film at the 53rd Academy Awards.
In a town near Salamanca, an eccentric widower, aged 60, is captivated by an imp, a precocious 13 year old. Alejandro is wealthy and alone, passing time with music, chess, and his shotgun. Gregoria (Goyita) the daughter of a weak-willed policeman and his bullying wife, is a budding naturalist who conspires to meet Alejandro. Even though he knows the village is talking, Alejandro spends time with Goyita, on walks, horseback rides, and dinners. He's enchanted and tells his friend the village priest that he's living for the first time. Goyita makes new demands on Alejandro, and he must decide how to be true to his ethics and to this Platonic yet highly-charged relationship.
