The new short film Supot will have its world premiere on October 11th at the Busan International Film Festival, where it will play as part of the Wide Angle: Asian Short Film Competition. The project has already received major acclaim. It was a finalist at the 2015 Starz Denver Screenwriting Competition; a semi-Finalist at the 2016 Showtime Tony Cox Screenwriting Competition; and an Official Selection in the 2016 Beverly Hills Film Festival Short Screenplay Category.
After refusing a ritual circumcision intended to usher him into manhood, Rene-boy (10), tries alternate methods to remove this mark of cowardice.
