NL. Jonathan, een zachtaardige jongeman, wordt bij gebrek aan bewijs vrijgelaten uit de gevangenis. Hij keert terug naar zijn moeder die in een klein huis bij de duinen woont. Jonathan wil het verleden vergeten en neemt zich stellig voor een ander, beter mens te worden. Maar ook al houdt hij zich strikt aan de regels, zijn goede intenties worden al snel op de proef gesteld als er een moeder met haar dochtertje naast hen komt wonen.

Jonathan's inner struggle is made tangible by the camera perspective that alternates between what he sees and an intense focus on him. The film, supported by John Parish's measured soundtrack, delves deeply into the emotional life of a man who doesn't want to be what he is, but – as he desperately puts it – "cannot be anything else".

Limbo is a Norwegian drama film, written and directed by Maria Sødahl.
The movie takes place in the 1970s and depicts a so-called expatriate-group at Trinidad, associated with the oil industry.
1973. After moving with her kids from Norway to Trinidad, where her husband, Jo, i s stationed as an oil engineer, Sonia discovers two things. That the husband has been having an affair for a long time, and that the change from Norway to a tropical Caribbean island is making big changes in her every day life. Her acquaintances are superficial and preliminary, before they move back home again. At first she tried to cope and keep up the appearances, but with a faltering marriage and no one to talk to she goes into a limbo.

Eleven year old immigrant girl Amy (Fathia Youssouf), originally hailing from Senegal, lives with her mother Mariam (Maïmouna Gueye) in one of the Paris poorest neighbourhoods in an apartment along with her two younger brothers awaiting for her father to rejoin the family from Senegal. Things turn swiftly as Amy is fascinated by a disobedient neighbour Angelica's (Médina El Aidi-Azouni) twerking clique called Cuties, an adult-style dance troupe which has contrasting fortunes and characteristics to Mariam's traditional customs, values and traditions.

SE. Tolvåriga Alice bor i en villa med sina föräldrar och sin bror, Pontus. Kärleken mellan hennes föräldrar tycks ha upphört och Alice mamma misstänker att pappan är otrogen. Det visar sig att hon har rätt, och familjen slits isär när pappan, Johan, flyttar ihop med jobbarkompisen Anna, som han varit otrogen med.
I filmen får man följa Alice och de dilemman hon står inför när hon ska anpassa sig till sin nya "familj". Alice är väldigt motstridig till att träffa sin pappas nya sambo, vilket förvärras av att hennes mamma Lotta inte vill ha att göra med Johans nya familj. Alice är full av känslor hon inte förstår och hon har ingen att prata med, förutom Annas son Patrik, som är jämngammal med Alice och som precis som hon vill att deras liv ska se ut precis som innan deras föräldrar flyttade ihop. Under filmens gång får man också följa Alice när hon är hos en psykolog och berättar om hur hon känner för sin nya familj.

He is well played as a person lost in his own world, with no friends, selling fresh fish, and drinking alone, unable even to ask for the check at one point, due to his acute inwardness. Our detective discovers the nude body of a young girl in the woods, the work of our killer. Unlike other films of this kind, this one moves (or plods) along at an absorbing pace, giving time for the detective to develop a relationship with an equally lonely school teacher. At one point, while they are making love, the killer is busy with another victim.

Film poświęcony jest losom grupy żydowskich dzieci z ubogich rodzin, która przyjeżdża do Sanatorium im. Włodzimierza Medema w Miedzeszynie pod Warszawą, podległego lewicowej partii Bund, a wyróżniającego się wzorowością w praktyce pedagogicznej i leczniczej. Dzieci przybyłe do sanatorium, choć początkowo mają trudności z dostosowaniem się do społeczności sanatoryjnej, stopniowo odzyskują szczęście, bawią się z rówieśnikami, a po trzech miesiącach pobytu czują się znów pełnoprawnymi członkami społeczeństwa.

FR. Naissance des pieuvres est un film dramatique français écrit et réalisé par Céline Sciamma sorti en 2007.
Il s'agit du premier long métrage de la réalisatrice, basé sur son scénario de fin d'étude à la Fémis.
Pendant l'été de leurs quinze ans, trois adolescentes vivent difficilement l'éclosion de leur sexualité. Marie traîne souvent avec Anne qui est complexée sur son physique et espère être aimée de François, membre de l'équipe de water-polo. Au club de natation synchronisée, pendant qu'Anne entraîne les poussines, Marie observe avec une curiosité troublée Floriane, la capitaine de l'équipe minime.
En échange de l'entrée dans la piscine pendant les entraînements, Marie sert de chaperon à Floriane pour pouvoir voir François le soir. Cependant, malgré une réputation de fille facile, Floriane appréhende sa première fois et finit par s'en confier à Marie.

PT. A coming-of-age comedy/drama set in Tunisia. Twelve-year-old Noura is an impressionable boy who must learn to reconcile two conflicting worlds - the loving world of Muslim women and the vastly different, harsher world of men - while also dealing with his own budding sexuality.
Boughedir paints a happy picture of Tunisian life, and illustrates the subtle and complex relationships between men and women in Tunisia.
The boy discovers the pleasures of life as his family adopts a teen girl. The boy tries whenever he has a chance to see her unclothed body. After three or four attempts the boy succeeds.
