Das Echo war überwältigend: Nach Sichtung von über 200 Stunden Super-8-Material stellte der Regisseur eine Dokumentation in 44 Sequenzen zusammen, die Einblicke in die ganz persönliche Welt und Sicht der Amateurfilmer gibt - ihre schönsten Momente, ihre wichtigsten Ereignisse und ihre erotischsten Erlebnisse.
EN. "Deutschland privat" is a special project by Robert van Ackeren, who in 1979 asked people to send him their 8mm home movies by placing ads in several magazines in Berlin, Germany. In the ads he announced that he was planning to blow up and mount the best of those movies into a feature documentary to be released in German cinemas. He was surprised how many home movies he received and how generously people allowed him to use them for his feature. Part 1 of "Deutschland privat" gives us typical German home movies of the 1970s, i.e. private holidays, family parties, etc. Part 2 consists of what is now called "amateur porn"; home made 8mm movies featuring real porn action.

Im Jahr 1980 brachte Robert van Ackeren unter dem Titel "Deutschland Privat" eine Kompilation von privaten Super-8-Filmen deutscher Hobbyfilmer in die Kinos. Mit "Deutschland Privat - Im Land der bunten Träume" führt er dieses Projekt fort: Der Film präsentiert schillerndes, in den gestalterischen Mitteln erstaunlich vielfältiges "Heimkino" aus fünf Jahrzehnten. Und gerade auch anhand der teils expliziten sexuellen Szenen zeichnet van Ackeren ein ganz eigenes "Deutschlandbild".

 DK. Du er ikke alene er en dansk film fra 1978. Filmen er instrueret af Lasse Nielsen og Ernst Johansen, og manuskriptet er af Lasse Nielsen og Bent Pedersen. Filmen havde premiere den 23. februar 1978.
Filmen foregår på en dansk drengeefterskole hvor en af drengene, Bo (Anders Agensø), opdager sin kærlighed for forstanderens yngste søn, Kim (Peter Bjerg), da begge påbegynder en rejse af seksuel udforskning med hinanden. I en ikke-relateret hændelse bliver en elev udvist for at vise pornografiske plakater, hvorefter de andre elever beslutter sig for at protestere og gå i strejke. Kim og Bo beslutter sig for at komme ud af skabet foran forældre og klassekammerater og viser en film de har lavet om deres forhold, der afsluttes med en lang og følelsesladet kyssescene.
Overgreb på børneskuespillere:
I foråret 2018 er det kommet frem i medierne, at mange af børneskuespillerne, både drenge og piger, som var med i filmen, skal være blevet krænket og seksuelt misbrugt under filmoptagelserne. Misbruget skal være begået af de to instruktører Lasse Nielsen og Ernst Johansen.
EN. You Are Not Alone (Danish: Du er ikke alene) is a 1978 Danish coming-of-age film written by Lasse Nielsen and Bent Petersen, directed by Lasse Nielsen and Ernst Johansen and produced by Steen Herdel.
Set in a Danish all-boys boarding school, one of the boys, Bo (Anders Agensø), develops a special relationship with the headmaster's young son, Kim (Peter Bjerg). In the beginning of the film the headmaster is trying to get funding for a new gym for the school. The boarding school is likely a Christian one, as they have school prayer and the teachers keep referring to good Christian morals.
In another plotline, a troubled student is expelled for displaying sexually charged posters. Some of the students decide to protest this by walking-out of classes. The boy is eventually allowed to return to school so that he may graduate. At the year-end graduation ceremony, the boys present to the entire school and their families a short film they made by themselves based on the commandment "Love thy neighbour".
Sexual abuse:
In 2018 six male and sixteen female former child actors accused the two directors of sexual abuse during the production of You Are Not Alone and other films. The accusations were covered widely in Danish media, and Ernst Johansen admitted to having had sex with under-age female actors, but claims to not having been aware of the age of consent (15 years in Denmark), and that the girls made a pass on him first.

Danny Lyon is one of America's great photographers, best known for his series on Chicago bike gangs and his on-going series of death row inmates in the Texas prison system. Lyon was partners with Robert Frank in a company they formed to make documentaries and support their photographic work when he made this poetic cinema-verité portrait of homeless children on the streets of Santa Marta, Colombia. Lyon's remarkable trademark ability to be with the boys as if he were one of them allows him (and us) to experience their day-to-day lives. Punctuated by songs written and sung by one of the boys, the film has a transcendent objectivity tinged with heartbreaking beauty. Restored at 2K by Mark Rance from the original camera negative held at the George Eastman House, the audio has been restored from the original production tapes. This effort is part of an on-going collaboration between Watchmaker Films and Lyons' Bleak Beauty.

The film won thirteen Gaudí Awards, nine Goya Awards, including best film, best director and best adapted screenplay. It was selected as the Spanish entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 84th Academy Awards being the first Catalan-language film to do so.
In the harsh post-war years' Catalan countryside, Andreu, a child that belongs to the losing side, finds the corpses of a man and his son in the forest. The authorities want his father to be made responsible of the deaths, but Andreu tries to help his father by finding out who truly killed them. In this search, Andreu develops a moral consciousness against a world of adults fed by lies. In order to survive, he betrays his own roots and ends up finding out the monster that lives within him.

In dem historischen deutschen Drama Der Baader Meinhof Komplex werden Geschichte und Hintergründe der linksradikalen Organisation RAF nachgezeichnet.
In den Jahren 1967 bis 1977 entsteht die linksradikale Organisation Rote-Armee-Fraktion (RAF), die von Andreas Baader (Moritz Bleibtreu), der Journalistin Ulrike Meinhof (Martina Gedeck) und Gudrun Ensslin (Johanna Wokalek) gegründet wird. Sie sind als Kinder der Nazi-Generation für jegliche Art von Faschismus sensibilisiert und sehen diese in der nordamerikanischen Außenpolitik, die von der deutschen Gesellschaft unterstützt wird. Doch ihre Kampagnen nehmen schnell terroristische Züge an und hinterlassen Opfer.

The film is based on the 1985 German best selling non-fiction book of the same name by Stefan Aust. It retells the story of the early years of the West German far-left terrorist organisation the Rote Armee Fraktion (Red Army Fraction, or Red Army Faction, a.k.a. RAF) from 1967 to 1977.
The film was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the 81st Academy Awards. It was also nominated for the Golden Globe in the Best Foreign Language Film category.
Germany in the 1970s: Murderous bomb attacks, the threat of terrorism and the fear of the enemy inside are rocking the very foundations of the yet fragile German democracy. Innocence is a 2004 French mystery drama film written and directed by Lucile Hadžihalilović, inspired by the novella Mine-Haha, or On the Bodily Education of Young Girls by Frank Wedekind, and starring Marion Cotillard. The film follows a year in the life of the girls in the third dormitory at a secluded boarding school, where new students arrive in coffins.

Confused, yet curious, six-year-old Iris is taken in hand by Bianca, the leader of a group of girls who live in one of five houses that make up a kind of boarding school. The only adults are old servants and two authoritarian teachers. Obedience is paramount. Those caught trying to escape are either swallowed up by the horrors of the outside world or condemned to serve the other girls within the school walls for the rest of their lives. The girls suffer various indignities of school life, longing to get outside. However, the eldest girls disappear each night for several hours under orders not to reveal their whereabouts to the others. In the end, we learn how these girls step into adulthood in this familiar, but clearly alternate, universe.

Henry James' classic tale of terror, "The Turn of the Screw" receives yet another screen adaptation in this thriller shot in Spain. A young woman (Sadie Frost) is hired to serve as a governess for two children, Miles and Flora (Nilo Mur and Ella Jones). She is hired by their uncle, the Master (Harvey Keitel), who became the guardian of the youngsters after the death of their parents. While the governess is initially enthusiastic about her job, Miles and Flora soon prove to be quite a handful, and the housekeeper Mrs. Grose (Lauren Bacall), who oversees most of the activities at the Master's estate, is openly antagonistic to her. Before long, the governess discovers the house bears a dark secret involving Miss Jessel (Dayne Danika), the previous governess, and Fosc (Agusti Villaronga), the Master's former valet. El Celo was the first feature from Director Antoni Aloy.
