"AAlone with Her Dreams" (aka "PICCIRIDDA") tells the story of Lucia, a little girl of eleven whose parents emigrate to France, at the end of the 60s', in looking for work, entrusting her to grandmother Maria, a strict woman unable to express her feelings. With the passing of months, the existence of Lucia is surrounded by meeting people and relatives. Curiosity pushes her towards the adult world especially men in her family circle, a mysterious world from which to stay away (as grandma says) or to be discovered (as Lucia thinks). One of them hides a terrible secret and Lucia will remain a victim. In a hostile social context, the little Lucia pays a very high price, but her grandmother she hates so much in the first place, will teach her to fight and to grow with dignity, strength and optimism. Indeed, 30 years later, Lucia, coming back to Sicily, will discover how her grandmother (who's just passed away) has freed her from her demons and given her the strength to eventually live her own life.

Dance of the Polar Bears (Danish: Lad isbjørnene danse) is a 1990 Danish drama film directed by Birger Larsen. The film was selected as the Danish entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 63rd Academy Awards, but was not accepted as a nominee.
At age 12, Lasse is a tough guy and a bright one. His life is changed when his mother, pregnant at the time, abandons his beloved father. She takes Lasse with her to live with her new paramour, a dentist as authoritarian as Lasse's Elvis Presley-fan butcher dad was easy-going. The dentist has a daughter, too, and she is a jealous schemer. Lasse tries hard to conform, but can a tiger change its stripes?

1. After the death of her mother, high school student Mari ends up in an orphanage. Three days later, the girl returns home, but her drunken father makes it clear almost from the door that she doesn't belong here.
The night spent at the train station ends for Mari with an acquaintance with an aggressive group of teenagers, led by Robi, and being driven to the police. In the morning, the fugitive leaves the cell: the orphanage teacher came for her.
The orphanage has its own internal hierarchy. The dashing guy Robi is considered the informal leader. The guys obey him and readily obey. The polite, intelligent Tauri, who, unlike the other pupils, has a respectable and very busy father, takes custody of the newcomer. Among the girls, the harsh, nervous Katrin, who ended up in an orphanage after her mother was imprisoned, dominates.
2. Teenage Mari is sent to an orphanage. It's an awful and unfriendly place to be. But soon two rival leading boys both show up their interest against the girl. Which one should she fall in love with, the good or the bad one ? Unbelivable realistic picture of an orphanage-life in Soviet Union is given.

The Finishing Line is a short film produced in 1977 by British Transport Films, warning about the dangers children face on railway lines. Although it is not strictly a public information film, it is often considered to be so by fans of the genre. It was broadcast in its entirety several times on television, but was so controversial that it was replaced less than two years later by the slightly less graphic Robbie. It won at least two creative awards: Certificate of Appreciation (Top Category) and Oberhausen Mention at the Festival of Youth Paris. The film was also shown in several schools by invitation. The film was directed by John Krish, written by Krish and Michael Gilmour, and produced by James Ritchie. It was filmed in the vicinity of the then-closed Watton-at-Stone railway station, Hertfordshire.
The voice-over of a headmaster tells the children he knows that some have been playing on the railway. A young boy is sitting on a railway bridge wall. As the boy ponders on his thoughts, he pictures a school Sports Day-style event being held on the railway line. The rest of the film shows his imagined idea of what would happen, with children being split into four competitive teams to take part in different activities often carried out by young people trespassing on the railway.

FR. Mérette est un téléfilm suisse réalisé par Jean-Jacques Lagrange, sur un scénario de Jean-Louis Roncoroni d'après un récit de Gottfried Keller, diffusé en 1982.
Mérette est l'histoire d'une jeune fille révoltée, au XIXe siècle, qui en veut à Dieu de lui avoir repris sa mère. Elle refuse l'éducation très protestante que son père tente de lui imposer en la plaçant auprès du pasteur Magnoux, dans la campagne vaudoise. Oppressée par ces règles religieuses, Mérette trouve refuge dans son imaginaire et dans la douceur de la nature. Mais la société des adultes est intransigeante…
Mérette a reçu le prix du Festival du Film d'Auteur de San Remo 1982 ainsi que le prix Louis-Philippe Kammans des télévisions francophones.

EN. This is a jolly coming-of-age story about a 14-year-old boy named Laurent Chevalier who is growing up in bourgeois surroundings in Dijon, France. This is France in the mid-1950s rather than America in the 1990s. Thus, Laurent is unharmed by events which would irreparably shatter the self-esteem of a modern American adolescent: he gets drunk, he smokes, he has sex, he is smothered by his mother, he is ignored by his father, a priest makes a pass at him, he gets rheumatoid fever, etc. There's enough scandalous behavior in this film to make 100 made-for-TV movies, and yet this is a very happy and oddly innocent tale.

The Wooden Gun takes place in Tel Aviv in the early 1950s. In a clear-eyed fashion that would have been impossible in a film made by "outsiders", the plot details the conflict between native-born Israelis and the newly arrived European refugees. The various fears and prejudices of the adults are passed along to their children, upon whom director Hans Moshenson concentrates. Largely comprised of non professionals, the teen-aged protagonists and antagonists are remarkable in their sincerity and conviction. Filmed in Hebrew, The Wooden Gun is available in an English-subtitled version.

SE. Kid Svensk är en svensk-finländsk dramafilm från 2007 i regi av Nanna Huolman med Mia Saarinen i huvudrollen.
Året är 1984. Tolvåriga Kirsi bor i Göteborg med sin finskspråkiga mamma. Hennes pappa har nyligen omkommit i en drunkningsolycka. Kirsi blir retad av sina klasskamrater och skäms över sin finska bakgrund. Hon kallar sig därför Kid. När hennes mamma beslutar att de ska tillbringa sommaren i Finland blir Kid ursinnig. Men Kid vinner pris i en uppsatstävling och det ger henne lite tröst i tillvaron.

NO. Den unge Jon Gabriel er fotokunstner. Dyktig på sitt område, men hjemløs i omgang med mennesker. Som type, attraktiv nok, men egentlig redd og uten tilhørighet i verden. 13-årige Flora er i mer konkret forstand hjemløs, men nærværende og tilstede i sin kamp for å klare seg. Hun er et barn med en livserfaring alt for stor for hennes unge alder, med en ytre tøffhet og direkthet som står i kontrast til hennes spinkle skikkelse. Slik finner vår fotokunstner seg målbundet i mer enn en forstand når den lille fuglungen av et gatebarn setter sitt blikk på ham og spør om han har et sted å bo. Hun slipper inn til ham, og på sin sære måte gir han henne nærhet. Ikke med ord og væremåter - men med en plakat. Hun vil ikke hete Flora - men Kim. "Kim" skriver han ned med store letrabokstaver på en pappbit - og hun er fortapt i ham.
EN. X is a Norwegian film from 1986. The play was directed by Oddvar Einarson, and starred Bettina Banoun and Jørn Christensen. The film started through the collective Film Group 84, and was completed by Einarson own production company.
X was released on DVD in 2010, with a lengthy interview with the director as extras, exactly this edition is located here.
We meet the photographer John Gabriel in his mid 20ies which coincidentally meets 13 year old Flora, which rather would like to be called Kim. She's a high risk teen going towards a possible drug abusing career, like her sister, and has run off from home and have nowhere to sleep. They start off a love affair due to her need for affection. We soon understand that it's completely OK to the parents that Flora has run off, and John Gabrel finds himself in a difficult choice between following his own or others expressions as a photographing artist.

DK. Politimanden Simon (Kim Bodnia) har efter en skilsmisse mistet forældremyndigheden over sin 6-årige søn Louie (Villads Milthers Fritsche). I desperation kidnapper Simon sønnen og tager ham med til Møn, hvor de skjuler sig i et tomt sommerhus. Simon ønsker bare at have en sidste ferie alene med sin søn, men ugen fremkalder et mareridt fra hans egen barndom, som bringer dystre minder frem hos Simon, og snart truer fortidens spøgelser i bogstaveligste forstand med at tage magten fra ham. Tilmed får de ufrivilligt selskab af en ung kvinde (Stine Fischer Christensen) og intet går længere som planlagt.

Angelidi's highly theatrical, experimental and allegorical film is divided into three independently existing segments that intertwine because of the involvement of the Thief, the connecting link between the three reality perspectives. The three segments are The Net, The Dice and Free Will, each one representing a philosophical idea and a natural element, (Fate-Fire, Chance-Water, Free Will-Earth), respectively. A sculptress of funereal memorials has visions of the Last Judgment, a mother who lost her son attaches herself to remnants of memory and fantastical visions of encounters, and an actor prepares for Antigone, with fictional reality invading his existential realm. The film explores the different levels of reality that can be experienced: the metaphysical (Death, God and religion), the tangible (love and mother-son relationships), and the externalization of the soul through art (theater and fiction). The Thief stands for Time, as time is a thief and destroys everything.

A 10-year-old boy is in the car with his father, a Roman and Roma football club supporter. They are late because the derby is about to start, but first they have to go somewhere. The child is dressed up in a fluttering blue miniskirt and a cape like a superheroine. They arrive at the supposed show and Ettore begins to sing a song, dancing like a girl. He performs for just one spectator.

Der Super 8 Film wurde 1975 auf einem Segeltörn auf einer Leisure 17 gedreht, und digitalisiert.
Das war damals noch ein Abenteuer, da noch kein Wassertourismus anzutreffen war.
Heute ist die Adria Zielgebiet für Segler mit entsprechenden Marinas.

Little seven-year-old Bory (Kim Soo-an) watches and listens intently as her family discusses preparations for her grandfather's memorial service. When her mother suddenly realises in horror that she has forgotten to buy bean sprouts for the gathering, one of her relatives suggests Bory should be sent to fetch them - the thought of which makes the child almost physically jump for joy - but her mum instantly dismisses the idea claiming that she is still far too young to go on such a journey alone.
However, the decision has already been made in our little explorer's mind and on being sent to her room to play she instead grabs her purse and bag in preparation for her important 'mission'.
Though Bory has no idea where to actually buy bean sprouts, she knows it's nonetheless up to her to succeed in her quest and save the day, single-handedly...

The universally recognized topic of this light comedy is the struggle between refusing to fall in love only to be rejected, and falling in love, regardless. After a computer operator (Richard Bohringer) has been through a painful relationship, he is determined to look the other way every time any interesting woman enters his life. He has his other loves -- photography and model planes -- to challenge him anyway, though his mother is not about to understand how a model plane can replace a woman in his life. One day, a car breaks down in front of his house, and a young mother (Catherine Frot) with her 10-year-old daughter (Anne Clignet) come in looking for assistance. The daughter is endearing and would make a terrific subject for a photo contest. As both the young mother and the computer operator studiously ignore the flicker of romantic sparks, it is only a matter of time before the flame either grows or is extinguished.

Language of Love (Swedish: Ur kärlekens språk) is a 1969 Swedish sex educational film directed by Torgny Wickman. It was an international success.
It gained publicity when 30,000 people gathered on Trafalgar Square in London to protest against a nearby movie theatre showing it, one of the protesters being pop singer Cliff Richard. Lord Longford and Raymond Blackburn decided to pursue a matter of pornography classification for the film Language of Love into the Court of Appeal and lost the writ of mandamus against the Police Commissioner, who had refused to intrude upon the British Board of Film Classification remit. United States customs were known to have confiscated copies of the film. Following such events, it was marketed as a sexploitation film of the "white coater" variety in some places — a pоrnographic film masquerading as a documentary or scientific film.
The film had two sequels, Mera ur kärlekens språk in 1970 and Kärlekens XYZ in 1971. In 1973 the three films were edited together into a new film, Det bästa ur Kärlekens språk-filmerna ("The Best from the Language of Love Films").
Mera ur kärlekens språk (More from the Language of Love) had equally successful box office though it dealt more with alternate sexuality and lifestyles and also with the disabled.
