DK. En serie i fire afsnit. I seriens første afsnit begynder børnenes sommerferie, og mens Lars' kammerater alle sammen skal på landet i ferien, må han blive hjemme, fordi hans mor og far skal på arbejde. En dag, da han cykler rundt i nabolaget, hører han et skrig fra en have, og da han undersøger sagen, opdager han, at det kommer fra et gammelt lysthus i haven. Da han kigger ind i det, lyder skriget igen, og Lars flygter.
I seriens andet afsnit hjælper Lars den svenske pige Sara med at gøre lysthuset rent. Sara har nogle hemmelige papirer, og hun fortæller, at gangsterne prøver at få fat i dem. Han må sværge en hellig ed på, at han aldrig vil fortælle, at han har truffet hende. De to besøger bl.a. en galopbane, hvor der sker mærkelige ting.
I tredje afsnit kan Lars' forældre ikke forstå, at han er så mystisk, og de synes det er mærkeligt, at han hele tiden taler svensk. En aften, hvor de skal til selskab, har han babysitter, og det er han meget gal over, specielt fordi det er Gunhild, en stor pige, som han ikke kan fordrage. Gunhild holder selskab, og til sidst bliver Lars så træt af støjen, at han tager sin sovepose og går ned til Saras lysthus.
Lars har været tre dage på landet med sin mor. Da han vender tilbage, har Sara skrevet et brev til ham og sat det fast på lysthusets dør. Hun påstår, at hun er blevet taget til fange af gangsterne. Men Lars finder hende i det store hus og hjælper hende med at flygte. Hele mysteriet opklares, alle trådene redes ud, og sommerferien slutter. Lars skal i skole igen, og her møder han nogen, han kender.

Eldste datter søker tvilsomme venninner, og faren vil ikke ha henne hjem igjen, men han dør før forsoningen. Moren bryter sammen og den eldste datteren må likevel hjem for å ta seg av sine søsken.

The Bråten family lives on the top floor in a sublet appartment in the suburbs of Oslo. The father, mother and 5 kids all share the space of this 1 room and a kitchen appartment. The father is mostly silent, except for when he screams for thr kids to "Shut Up!" The mother is the one keeping the family together, as the kids keep giving their parents a hard time. 16 year old Maiken suddenly wants to move out, while 14 year old Sverre is caught for car theft. It's never a quiet moment for these 2 parents, all the while the neighbours are shaking their heads, and sigh: "Never anything else but trouble".

Die Probleme eines zwölfjährigen Jungen, mit den Anforderungen der Eltern und der Schule und den eigenen Interessen übereinzustimmen.
Der Vater von Jens hatte sich für einen Einsatz an der Erdöltrasse »Drushba« in der Sowjetunion gemeldet. Bevor er seine Familie verließ, mußte Jens ihm versprechen, der Mutter im Haushalt zu helfen. Jens hält sein Versprechen, zumal sein Vater in einem Fernsehbericht von der Trasse verkündet, daß er weiß, wie stolz er auf seinen Jungen ob seines Versprechens sei. Allerdings hat das zur Folge, daß Jens nur noch wenig an den Veranstaltungen seiner Mitschüler teilnehmen kann, die außerhalb des Unterrichts stattfinden. Um dies für seinen Freund Jens wieder zu ermöglichen, hat Mischa einen Einfall: man müßte die Mutter von Jens, die als Verkehrspolizistin tätig ist, entlasten. Also muß der Straßenverkehr besser geregelt werden, das heißt, Verkehrsschilder werden umgestellt! Doch das führt dazu, daß sich Mischa und Jens plötzlich auf dem Polizeirevier wiederfinden. Offensichtlich war das – obwohl gut gemeint – nicht der richtige Weg, um ihr Ziel zu erreichen. Doch letztens beweist Jens mit seiner Reaktion auf das Geschehene, daß doch auf ihn Verlaß ist.

DE. Dschungelkind ist ein deutscher Spielfilm, der am 17. Februar 2011 in die Kinos kam. Der Film ist die Leinwandadaption des gleichnamigen autobiografischen Bestsellers von Sabine Kuegler.
Klaus Kuegler ist Sprachwissenschaftler und zieht mit seiner Frau Doris und seinen drei Kindern in den tropischen Regenwald Westneuguineas, um dort die Sprache eines neu entdeckten Eingeborenenstammes, der Fayu, zu erforschen. Die achtjährige Tochter Sabine lebt sich schnell ein. Was die Familie nicht weiß: Sie ist mitten in eine Stammesfehde geraten, deren Kämpfe sie zwar nicht direkt betreffen, in die sie aber immer öfter hineingezogen werden. Der Familie fällt es anfangs nicht leicht, den Grund für die Feindseligkeiten zu verstehen, und sie muss erkennen, dass Liebe, Hass, Leben und Tod in der fremden Kultur andere Werte haben als in ihrer eigenen. So beginnt ein Prozess der Annäherung, in dem beide Seiten voneinander lernen müssen.
Als Sabine und ihr Bruder eines Tages den schwer verletzten Auri finden und die Familie ihn zu Hause versorgt, bringen sie damit alle in Gefahr, da diese Handlung über Krieg und Frieden zwischen den beiden Stämmen entscheiden kann. Zwischen Sabine und Auri entwickelt sich sofort eine besondere Verbundenheit und tiefe Freundschaft.
Als die Familie nach Jahren für einen Urlaub nach Deutschland reist, wird die sechzehnjährige Sabine dort mit einer völlig „fremden“ Welt konfrontiert, die nicht mehr die ihre ist. Ihre Suche nach Zugehörigkeit und Geborgenheit wird letztlich zur Suche nach sich selbst. Erst nach der Rückkehr in den Dschungel weiß sie, wo ihre wahre Heimat ist.

Lord of the Flies is a 1963 British drama film, based on William Golding's novel of the same name about 30 schoolboys who are marooned on an island where they become savages. It was directed and written by Peter Brook and produced by Lewis M. Allen. The film was in production for much of 1961, though the film did not premiere until 1963, and get released in the United Kingdom until 1964. Golding himself supported the film. When Kenneth Tynan was a script editor for Ealing Studios he commissioned a script of Lord of the Flies from Nigel Kneale, but Ealing Studios closed in 1959 before it could be produced.
The novel was adapted into a movie for a second time in 1990; the 1963 film is generally considered more faithful to the novel than the 1990 adaptation.
A group of young boys are stranded alone on an island. Left to fend for themselves, they must take on the responsibilities of adults, even if they are not ready to do so. Inevitably, two factions form: one group (lead by Ralph) want to build shelters and collect food, whereas Jack's group would rather have fun and HUNT; illustrating the difference between civilization and savagery.

 Lord of the Flies is a 1990 American survival drama film directed by Harry Hook and starring Balthazar Getty, Chris Furrh, Danuel Pipoly and James Badge Dale. It was produced by Lewis M. Allen and written by Jay Presson Allen under the pseudonym "Sarah Schiff", based on the 1954 book Lord of the Flies, by William Golding. It is the second film adaptation of the book, after Lord of the Flies (1963).
The film differs in many ways from both its predecessor film and the novel. Lord of the Flies centers on Ralph mainly, as the boys try to initiate a society after crash-landing on an uncharted island, but things go awry.
The film was released on March 16, 1990 by Columbia Pictures, with film rights now belonging to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Upon and since its release, the film has received mixed reviews, generally more negative than its 1963 counterpart. Most critics praise the film's scenery but center upon the film's deviations from the novel as a central flaw. However, the movie grossed $14 million and has acquired a cult following.
After a plane crash in the ocean, a group of military students reach an island. Ralph organizes the boys, assigning responsibilities for each one. When the rebel Jack Merridew neglects the fire camp and they lose the chance to be seen by a helicopter, the group split under the leadership of Jack. While Ralph rationalizes the procedures, Jack returns to the primitivism, using the fear for the unknown (in a metaphor to the religion) to control the other boys, and hunting and chasing pigs, stealing the possession of Ralph's group and even killing people.

DE. El Cantor ist ein deutscher Fernsehfilm von Dean Reed aus dem Jahr 1977. Der von der DEFA im Auftrag des Fernsehens der DDR produzierte Film beschäftigt sich mit den letzten Wochen im Leben des Sängers Víctor Jara.
Der zeitweilig in der DDR lebende US-amerikanische Sänger und Schauspieler Dean Reed übernahm für die Herstellung dieses Fernsehfilms gleich mehrere Aufgaben:
Im Jahre 1976 erarbeitete er das Szenarium, schrieb danach zusammen mit Wolfgang Ebeling das Drehbuch, inszenierte diesen Film als Regisseur und agierte in der Hauptrolle des populären chilenischen Sängers Victor Jara, der von Kräften der chilenischen Putschisten umgebracht wurde. Dean Reed wollte mit diesem Film seinem langjährigen Freund Jara eine Denkmal und gleichzeitig ein Zeichen im Kampf gegen die Militärjunta in Chile setzen.
In diesem Streifen zeigt Reed viel Persönliches aus den letzten Wochen in Victor Jaras Leben, so die enge Bindung zu seiner Frau - hier Janet genannt und von Friederike Aust interpretiert - und zu seinen beiden Kindern. Daneben schildert er Jaras alltägliches Bemühen um eine menschliche Gesellschaft, so auch als Mistreiter für die Sache der UNIDAT POPULAR, und die damit verbundene direkte Bedrohung seitens seiner politischen Gegner.
Der Film wurde ab Februar 1977 in Bulgarien gedreht, weil Reed der Auffassung war, dass die bulgarische Architektur der in Chile ähnele. Für Szenen über eine Kundgebung der UNIDAD POPULAR standen Mitglieder des bulgarischen Jugendverbandes als Komparsen bereit.

Poeetilise ja kujundliku filmi peategelane on 5-aastane Kati. Ta on suvel Hiiumaal vanaema juures, kus tema mängumaa on lai ja avar. Vanaema kingib Katile kassipoja, kuid ema ei luba kiisut linna kaasa võtta. Lõpuks siiski nõustuvad vanemad sellega, et kass võetakse linna kaasa. Kass pääseb aga Mustamäe paneelelamu korterist välja ja Kati läheb teda otsima. Koju jõudnud ema on mures, kuna last pole kodus. Õnneks leiab ta Kati varsti üles.

På Slagen, Hudøy og flere andre steder drev Oslo kommune feriekolonier hvor barn fra byen kunne feriere om sommeren. På Dal var det en egen feriekoloni for tuberkolusetruede barn. Noen barn ble også sendt til ferieopphold på bondegårder. Mer enn 5000 barn fikk hver sommer opphold på kommunale eller private feriekolonier.

Hey Babe!, also known as Babe! and also known as Rise and Shine, is a 1980 film, a musical drama starring Yasmine Bleeth and Buddy Hackett. This was Yasmine's first film at the age of 12 years.
Theresa O'Brian is a 12-year-old orphan who desperately wants to attend a school for the performing arts and become a star. She is not receiving encouragement at the orphanage and is getting into trouble with the orphanage officials due to her infractions of the rules and regulations.
In one of her unauthorized adventures away from the orphanage, she meets and befriends Sammy Cohen who was a Vaudeville performer who became an alcoholic and lost his career. He is interested in renewing his career and has faith in Theresa's ability, and together they develop an act called "Buddy and Babe" in order to raise money for Theresa's tuition.
Shot in 1979, the film was released in 1983, by which time the film's "TV Singer" Geraldine Hunt had scored a 1980 Billboard National Disco Action Top 100 number-one hit with "Can't Fake the Feeling".

CZ. Requiem pro panenku je český film, který v roce 1991 natočil režisér Filip Renč na motivy skutečné události z roku 1984. (Ovšem podle výpovědí některých svědků události, jež byla předobrazem k filmu, popisuje film spíše tehdejší oficiální verzi prezentovanou při soudním přelíčení.)
Administrativním omylem se čtrnáctiletá Marika dostane místo do dětského domova do ústavu pro mentálně choré, odkud není úniku. Panuje v něm nelidská mašinérie a sadistické vychovatelky používají tak drastické "výchovné" metody, že se dívka rozhodne bezvýchodnou situaci řešit zoufalým činem...
EN. Requiem for a Maiden (Czech: Requiem pro panenku) is a Czech psychodrama film inspired by real-life tragedy which costed the lives of 26 mentally disabled girls. Released in 1992, it was the directorial debut of Filip Renč who also starred in a supporting role and until today it is his most successful movie. It was also the main role debut for the then 14 years old actress Anna Geislerová.
Fourteen-year-old Marika was placed in a social care institution after being raped by her own father, and her mother died when she was four. By an administrative mistake, however, the girl is put into the Institute for Mentally Disabled Girls at Sance. From the very first day, she tries to remind the staff that she does not belong in this building and should be placed in a children's home in Hradci. There are hard punishments for mentally handicapped girls there. The headmaster of the institute is completely unaware of what is happening in his institution.

"Crabs in the Sand" is not an easy film to watch. It begins with a picture of innocence and calm – a group of children spending a summer day at the beach. But this idyllic scene is interrupted by a disturbing sexual meeting that teeters on the boundary between rape and prostitution. By the end, it is not clear which of the two parties involved is more wounded.

 Drifting Flowers (Chinese: 漂浪青春; pinyin: Cì Qīng; literally: "Piao Lang Qing Chun") is a 2008 Taiwanese lesbian drama film by director Zero Chou. The original Chinese title means “The Drifting Waves of Youth.”
Three stories that share the theme of women coming to terms with homosexuality are brought together in this omnibus drama from Taiwanese filmmaker Zero Chou. In the first segment, May (Pai Chih-ying) is an eight-year-old girl whose older sister Jing (Serena Fang) makes money as a musician, despite the fact she's blind. Jing plays in a night club combo with Diego (Chao Yi-lan), and while May knows that her sister and Diego are close friends, she isn't certain why a woman like Diego insists on acting so masculine - or why she sees Jing and Diego kissing passionately one night. In the second part, Lily (Lu Yi-ching) is an elderly woman who is suffering from Alzheimer's and is losing touch with her past. Lily is reminded of her childhood when she's unexpectedly reunited with her school friend Yen (Sam Wang), but he's changed a great deal since she last saw him -- he's a gay man who enjoys cross dressing and is living with AIDS. In the final chapter, we're reintroduced to Diego and learn of the sexual confusion of her adolescence, as she rebels against the changes in her body and develops a new understanding of herself when she finds love with a beautiful nightclub performer. Piao Lang Quigchun (aka Drifting Flowers) was an official entry at the 2008 Berlin Film Festival.

Men Behind the Sun (Chinese: 黑太阳731 / 黑太陽731; pinyin: hēi tài yáng 731, literally meaning "Black Sun: 731") is a 1988 Hong Kong–Chinese historical horror film directed by T. F. Mou.
The film is a graphic depiction of the war atrocities committed by the Japanese at Unit 731, the secret biological weapons experimentation unit of the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II. The film details the various cruel medical experiments Unit 731 inflicted upon the Chinese and Soviet prisoners towards the end of the war.
As World War II draws to a close, Japanese army officers are cooking up biological weapons to deploy as a last-ditch effort. They test their prototypes on Chinese and Russian war prisoners at an underground facility called Squadron 731, conducting horrific experiments. A gory Chinese polemic, considered a cult classic for its sheer shock value.

 A Long Walk (長い散歩 Nagai Sanpo) is a 2006 film directed by Japanese director Eiji Okuda.
Matsutaro Yasuda, a retired girl's High School Principal who has lost his wife to alcoholism and is forsaken by his Daughter, moves to an old apartment in a country town. Yasuda, at his new address, meets a little five years old girl who lives next door. Sachi, the little girl, clenches on an iron fence at the apartment. All alone, she is gazing into the distance. Angel's wings made of cardboard are on her back. She is barefoot and wears a summer dress in spite of it being winter. On her leg there are scratches and bruises. Yasuda speaks to Sachi but she does not smile or say a word. When night falls, violent voices can be heard from next door to the mother and her lover echoing in Yasuda's room almost every night. Yasuda blocked out his emotions. He didn't want to hear or see anything. However, little by little something moved his emotions we can call it passion. When he looked into the little girl's eyes, which are also lacking in emotion, something seemed to overlap his wounded heart. "Have you ever seen a blue sky? Where clouds appear like cotton candy and a white bird is flying high?" "Would you like to walk with me?" Yasuda and Sachi begin their long walk.... During their walk, the two meet a young boy named Wataru at a small desolate train station. Wataru seems to be easygoing. However, he is also lonely and holds an empty feeling in his heart. The passing Wataru joins the two on their journey but the trip goes in an unexpected direction when one day Sachi begins to open her heart to Yasuda and Wataru. Cardboard Angel wings begin to fly toward a real sky...
